Mission Statement:

the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.”
First United Methodist Church, Portland is a Lighthouse Congregation.
Are you an individual or part of a group of people who have become displaced
or churchless because of a church closing or disaffiliation?
If so, a Lighthouse Congregation may be for you! As a Lighthouse Congregation,
we promise to provide a resting place for you,
where we will offer care, peace and grace. We will also offer you ministry opportunities
in which to engage. Worship-in person or on-line. Sunday School and Bible Study.
Mission and Outreach opportunities.
At First UMC, we are a congregation who has a desire to welcome,
love and nurture. We hope you join us! Worship:
Every Sunday at 9am and 11am with
Sunday School classes at 10am;
except the first Sunday of every month where we gather
for one service at 10am with a potluck following.
